“Writing is the really wonderful part. A lot of things are lying around waiting to be discovered. Our job is to notice them and bring them to life.”—George Carlin, in his last interview on June 13, 2008

I am compiling a list of blogs run by University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) alumni. Specifically, I am seeking blogs/bloggers with a lot of followers, perhaps even ads. To get even more specific, I would prefer the bloggers to be graduates of the liberal arts (School of LSA). The blog can cover any range of material; I’m looking for variety.
If you know of any blogs or bloggers who fit this profile, will you please be so kind as to email me (email@example.com) a link to their blog and/or their contact information?
Two months ago, I posted my covet for this lunch tote from Artifact Bag Co.
Everything about this bag was exactly what I was looking for in a lunch carryall, sans the $65 price tag. Tired of carting my lunch to work in a plastic Meijer bag (sad for the Earth and sad for me), I decided to make my own tote based on ABC’s version.
To start, I loosely used this template for a DIY lunch bag from Design Sponge. I can’t really explain my process after that because I tend to just wing it and see where my sewing takes me. To finish the tote, I cut up an old faux leather bag of mine that had ripped and used the leather for the strap.
